Tunnel Container Uses
Tunnel containers are also referred to as double door shipping containers, they have the same dimensions as a standard ISO container, but the different is that they are opened at both ends. This feature gives easy access to the cargo, and is helpful when you are using the container as a storage or conversion project.
Transport
A tunnel container can be used for a variety different purposes. Dual entry points allow you to access equipment and materials at either end. This makes it easier to transport palletised loads with forklifts and also simplifies stock flow management. Tunnel containers are often used as temporary bridges on construction sites, and as ticket entrances for festivals or other events.
They are also a great solution for self storage. By erection of a steel bulkhead partition, one 20ft tunnel container (Ongoing) can be transformed into two 10ft units, increasing the ROI.
