Tunnel Container Uses
Tunnel containers are also referred to as double door shipping container tunnel containers, they have the same dimensions as a standard ISO container, but the difference is that they open at both ends. This lets cargo access easily and is a useful feature if you intend to use the container for storage or conversion projects.
Transport
A tunnel container can be used for many different reasons. Dual entry points make it easy to access equipment and materials at either end. This makes it easier to transport palletised loads with a forklift and simplifies stock flow management. Tunnel containers are often used as temporary bridges at construction sites, or as ticket entrances for festivals and other events.
They are also a great solution for self storage. By erection of the bulkhead partition made of steel the 20ft 40ft tunnel containers container can become two 10ft units, maximising return on investment.
